Title: Woot! Hen rescue is ON!
Post by: SnooziSuzi on July 06, 2012, 13:45
I'm quite excited because I'm going to the next Hen rescue in Northumberland through the BHWT later this month!

Woohoo!  I have my name down for 3 new girlies to give a happy home to and I can't wait to meet them

I will :)  They're going to live in the big run on their own for a bit whilst they get back into condition and then when they're fighting fit I'll move them in with the rest of the flock

Did they arrive safely? Have they settled in?  ::)

Hi guys :)

Yes, I collected them yesterday and installed them into their temporary new home to let them feather up and get used to life on the outside before I introduce them to the rest of my flock.

I even got an egg this morning, although I'm going to have to teach them where the nest box is... in fact, WHAT a nest box is
