Yes folks, I've been on Metcheck, an American weather station, the BBC, and its all showing up snow most of next week - I guess me and loads of other people will be building hugging :D on our way to work.

Like my dad used to say, "Don't cast a clout 'til May's out" - in other words, don't put away your winter wollies

I've been watching the weather closely and was hoping Metcheck had got it wrong but even the Beeb are forecasting snow now.  >:( It's not so much a bit of snow that bothers me, but the minus temps again every night .
First timer, NOT enjoying the backache anymore!

You're not the only ones with bad weather this week and weekend.  We'd had great weather until Thursday evening, then during the night it dropped to -9C BRRRR and will say in the low minus for a few days. Had to bring in all my seedlings. We're also expecting a small snowfall soon and then it's summer for us. Whooppeee!

Thanks for looking that up for me madcat, I think I will have to bring my plastic greenhouses inside, the only room I have is in the extention its like a little conservatory, still it will give Po our cockatail something new to look at.

Snow!, Will newly planted onion sets and onions grown from seed be ok on the plot or should I get the fleece at the ready?
Not worried about the spuds as they were only planted last week deep in the soil and no green shoots expected yet.
