I am so angry with myself.    Decided to venture some distance to day and go to Aldi.  One of the things I needed was a tin of Chick Peas.  I am so cautious about read labels etc, (mainly because of my salt thing)
but I was with a friend, and just didn't look - Guess what - in Salt Water.  Food bank for them.

I just rinse all beans out in cold water anyway - removes most of the gunk and salt etc surely?

The salt will absorb into things, so I am afraid a no for me.  But like you I do always rinse canned pulses to get rid of the nasties.    Mrs Bouquet
