here we go again

sorry, debbie, chickenlady, i did my best, but have lost the little white light sussex bantam, her comb started to turn blue, so had to do the only decent thing and take her to the vet.

the little blue laced wyandotte bantam is still not good and i think i will be going again before the week is out, which leaves the little buf laced wyandotte, who is still laying. fingers crossed for her.

To Grumpydad, having just lost our 'Maggie' our thoughts are with you - hugs - hoping your remaining chook will be ok.

just back from the vet, the little blue laced wyandotte has not made it either.

Thanks to everyone, on a bright side, we have had 2 eggs today, so i hope the remaining 2 are both going to be ok, we have decided to do nothing until the summer, to see how things go.

But might need to put a fan heater in the coop to keep them warm if it gets much colder.

Only joking.

i am sorry for the lose of your girls and i hope the other 2 remain healthy  , dont ever give up guys things are sent to test us an its horrible but i know u can get though this . there has been times very recently were i wanted to give up but i cant they only need to do the most stupid of things to make see its worth carrying on like today one of my white sussex jumped up onto my back while i was getting the corn out the bin its was really funny , u have helped me martyn so now its my turn to help u even if it is chatting online
