Title: hurrah laying has begun

Picked up my babies 3 weeks ago, yesterday I thought I would check as one has sorted the nest owt, there was a chucky egg sat there smiling at me.
Just need the others to start now.

Lovely, how many chickens did you get? My 3 new girls (October) have been laying since before December, eggs now bigger :D. I lost 1 of my older girls on Friday ,(got those 3 october’21) so not that old really and they hadn’t laid all last year, did think maybe an odd egg but nope,zilch, although they had been eating them previously, well 1 that was very thin shelled, but it always had been!

Just 4.
I wanted 4 Cuckoo Marron's but couldn't get hold of any so ended up with Warren's.
 Got two eggs today.
Mrs had two for brekky, imagine the scene.... "When Harry met Sally"  :lol:
