 :D :D house and pen all built and ready am picking up 4 ex bats net sun cant wait lol am really excited have just been shopping to get feeders, feed, grit ect after reading the mite thread what is the best thing to keep mites at bay lol???? and would the benifit from some extra vits

Hello PandCs, they might benefit from a teaspoon of "poultry spice" in their feed maybe twice a week, plus at the same time a teaspoon of cod liver oil mixed in. Re: mite prevention a good dusting of diatom in their nestbox and at the end of their perches, though, I dont they will be perching as yet so pop some powder wherever they feel happiest sleeping. Poultry Shield is a liquid specifically to kill/prevent redmite.
