what does a goose egg taste like?? Are they like duck eggs??
-
Just looked it up and they are lovely apparently, make fab scramble and omeletes. More like chicken eggs to taste than duck eggs but I wonder how hard it will be to crack :) I look forward to trying it.
I read that you need to keep them for 3 weeks before you can boil them :!: anyone know why that is please :?:

Well had the first five goose egs starting last Friday. Poached the first........... Took some eating ! Proportionately more yolk than a hens egg, seems almost half white half yolk.
Boiling takes between 8 and 12 mins depending how you like it..............
I prefer a single goose egg omelette..... Scrumptious.
Plenty of grazing gets a lovely deep rich yolk...........
However, after today will be leaving the eggs until Judy has laid a clutch then might sit............... We will see. I am still very new to this !
