I'm quite pleased with the progress of my swedes (several varieties) so far, but many of the leaves now look like lace doillies (no pic required!).

What eats them - is it flea beetle? I know they are brassicas, but no sign of of caterpillars or slugs in evidence, under very close inspection, but the leaves have been trashed by something, and I can't help but think that they would be doing even better if I could keep the pests (??) off...

Any thoughts people?

Unless it's pigeons...damned things have had a go at the end few plants in each row
