Beans and Peas
« on: April 13, 2010, 21:01 »
I got a bit impatient and sowed some broad beand, some sugar snap peas and mange tout peas earlier this year in modules in a mini greenhouse. They were starting to get a bit leggy sow today I planted them out. Here in the West of Scotland we are normally about 4 weeks behind the South of England so I may be a bit early. Will I need to cover them with fleece for the next month or should I only cover them if frost is forcast.
You will never find time for anything. If you want time you must make it.

Did you harden them off? If so then a fleece for frost will be ok.

You may be a bit early. We are about 3 weeks behind normal planting times. Give them some protection..
