Bulbs for sure, but you won't see any for sale now until next Spring.

I have other plans for the border next year and I can be a little ruthless at times.  As they say 'A weed is just a flower that is growing in the wrong place'

Hi there Zak.
Gladiolus are not bulbs they are corms..  They can be increased by cormlets or by seed.
You will not get them at a supplier until early next spring.  But if you know of anybody who is growing them, have a go at the baby cormlets or seeds.
But they are definitely not bulbs.  Good luck.  Mrs Bouquet

PS:  before anybody asks a bulb contains the new young plant. A corm does not.  That is why you have to grow from the cormlets or seed, as the original corm |(as you planted it) will not develop.  If you leave them in the ground the new plants will not be from the original, but from the cormlets that have developed from that.
A subtle difference, but nonetheless very important.

Glad to know someone knows what they're talking about 100% thanks mrs bouqet, never knew that.

Zak i would offer you some as I'm digging up where they are after they finish flowering this year, but I've already promised some in a swap with some massive crazy daff bulbs. If any are left at the time that happens, and you remind me, I'm a terrible at forgetting lately, you are welcome to them.

Glad corms can also be iffy in very wet or very cold winter areas. I must pull mine for winter because if they freeze, they rarely survive.
