The only thing that confused me is the bit about putting wires into the corners of the crosses - do they mean in the "point" of each V so the raspberries nessle in there eventually?

I thought the wire went on the ends of the crosses, to create a frame  :?  thats how we did ours when we tried it.

You can't tell from the picture as it's all overgrown. I have never grown raspeberries or even seen them on a frame irl so i don't know what to compare them to. So the wires go on the ends odf the crosses and you have 4 wires one for each raspeberry cane?

Does your bean frame mean you HAVE to grow your beans in the same place every year? I thought crops had to be rotated...

We move the bean pole every other year, mainly coz we cant be bothered to do it every year, we have to redo the strings every year though. we havent had any problems doing that. when the beans all die off they (apparently) enrich the soil with nitrogen if you leave them to die in the ground.
But a word of warning , we had to redo the strings about 4 times last year (much to the amusement of our neighbours) because the foxes kept chewing through them... they got fed up with the game before we did!

Nope the wires went round each cross attached to the ends makes a square loop of wire when viewed from above and the canes grew up through them, well that's how we did ours.

Does that make any sense ?
