Feeling a bit more human today, thank you.
Haddock with parsley sauce, peas and mash for tea tonight.

We've had roast chicken and cold chicken and now I am down to the scraps leftover.  I've mixed them with a bit of bacon, chopped up and fried, roasted courgette and tomato sauce and made a pasta bake for tonight.  Its already sitting in the fridge, so I can get on with stuff today and it just needs to be put in the oven.

Filling comfort food for later with no effort from me - sounds like a plan  :D

It does indeed. :)

Mushroom risotto here - use up the last of the stock and the mushrooms I bought for breakfasts and didn't use, plus some dodgy shallots ......

Just got in after a day on the plot, clearing up for winter.  Knackered.  All day breakfast with potato cakes from the freezer is about my limit!   :)

The pasta bake was good, but I got food envy from this yesterday.   Tonight was soddages tonight with green cabbage and spuds from the plot with spoon standing   :D

I roasted the rest of the par-boiled Charlottes with a pork chop, had the very last Rosella tomatoes and some coleslaw to go with them.

Marinated turkey steaks (out of the freezer) with beetroot gratin (make 2 freeze 1) and potato wedges, and maybe some marrow steamed in butter.

This freezing is a zero sum game ...  I make space by taking something out and promptly fill it with something else!  <sigh>
