Tonight it is stuffed marrow again - chicken thigh this time, so I will spice it up a bit.

Pork and apple casserole - which managed to acquire the last of the sweetcorn and a little squash in there too.  Chunks of wholemeal bread to mop up the juices.

I filled the big pan up with soaked pulses, white beans and veg, after a couple of hours I added a couple of drumsticks - it is still simmering away now.
Made some cheese & Jalapeno bread to go with it  :)

Pork chops, calabrese in cheese sauce (not sure we will get any more off those plants), runners, steamed pots.  Oh and apple sauce of course.

Last nights dinner didn't sit too well, but then it was 40% and supermarket own brand so to be expected really  :nowink:  ::)

Thought I should settle things a little with some deconstructed cottage pie, the last of the French beans and some spoon-standing.

I have a craving for a fried bacon and mushroom roll though  :tongue2:

Indeed!  40% what?

Tonight will be vegetable curry here, with rice and some cucumber & mint in yogurt if it ends up a bit spicy.  Quite what veggies will depend on what is on the plot.  The result will certainly not be authentic but should be warm, filling and tasty.
