Last night was a curry with new potatoes and spinach from the plot.  I love it when you can go and harvest the bulk of the meal  :)

I've got the ancient remains of a roast chicken in the freezer and the weather forecast looks as if today would be a good day to use them up, to free up space for tomatoes in a few weeks  ::)
So I am slow-cooking a chicken casserole, light on chicken and heavy on plot veg

Back from travels for a few days, so last night was salad, courgette sauted in garlic (all home grown inc first cucumber!!   :)  ), and chicken steaks in breadcrumbs.  V quick for tired peeps.

I have a slo cooker of beef and mushroom on, which will be pie filling, to go with wilted chinese leaves, stir fried veg for tonight.

I love it when you can go and harvest the bulk of the meal  :)

Agreed!!!   :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

First rain this month, welcome for the plot, so a good time spent in the kitchen.
Leftover pork, just making a load of pork balls to deep fry and a sweet and sour sauce.
Served with french beans and broad beans mixed in some rice.

For afters just made a Rhubarb Ripple Semi-Freddo Recipe with some fresh picked rhubarb.

Giant homemade pizza.  I gave up after a couple of slices but OH has eaten the rest

So much for cold pizza out of the fridge as a snack later  ::)

Sometimes they have to be reminded gently they aren't 17 anymore and wont burn it off like they used to ...   ::)

Tonight will be a fridge clearing savory rice, including the rather overgrown courgette that just appeared on the plant.     :D

There's no need to - since we're not 17 anymore  :D

Pastry leftover, so it's leftover pie tonight. That's not pie which was left  but pie full of fridge leftovers  :nowink: Mash, onion, bit of cheese and ½ a red pepper so far. Still no green stuff from the GH but I do some mixed veg and if I'm feeling naughty perhaps a spicy wedge or 2.  :tongue2:

Chicken last night, slung in the oven with wedges and some tomatoes to roast as OH was pacing restlessly when I slunk back in late.  I'd been out plot visiting and nattering

Tonight is stuffed veg using peppers from the greenhouse and possibly baby aubergines and tomatoes as well.  Pre-cooked brown rice and a few rashers of bacon are defrosting for part of the filling and I have a nub end of cheese in the fridge to grate and sprinkle over  :)
