Tonight I'll get some salmon from the freezer - probably with green salad and coleslaw.

Turkey kofta in dahl, beetroot and chard curry from freezer, bengli potatoes and plain basmati.  Just the thing for St Paddy's day????

Post dinner note - the kofta were a nice idea, but the recipe cooked them in the dahl like dumplings.  Not good - I'll dry fry them first next time I think!

As it turned quite cold, after lunch, so the salad was replaced with stir-fried veg and rice and a touch of sweet chilli sauce  :D

Snap!

Spicy chicken wings with rice and I'm wobbling between the planned salad or stir fry veg as it is miserable out there.   :(

Last night was a bit of a rush, so ended up with pork steaks, wedges, onions rings and peas.

Today is yet to be decided, but the curry munchies are still there  ;)

Salmon parcels tonight, with kale, runners and potatoes in parsley sauce.  (The kale gives me an excuse to go and see if the soil warming fleece is still in position! The March breezes are brisk this morning ....)

The Brussels Sprouts and the leeks are starting to come to an end, but still enough to pick for a week or two.
Picked a fat parsnip with a lot of fat legs, plenty to feed us all.
Picked baby carrots, thin leeks and some desiree for the potato shed.

Roast Chicken with a bought swede and broccoli.
Rhubarb crumble from freezer and custard.

So much for that plan  ::)  I've worked a lot of Sunday afternoons and evenings recently so OH was plaintive for a roast.  Roast chicken and the works served up, plus rhubarb and ice-cream for pud.  The carton of custard was missing from the cupboard.  OH denies all knowledge, but I'm not convinced

We are having curry with the leftover chicken and that is non-negotiable  ;)

Cottage pie tonight with runners or kale, depending if I feel like fetching it.  I'll cook the base (with lots of veggies in it) in the slow cooker during the day and top it with the mash later.  Plus one for later in the week.
