Know Your Onions - A One Off Quickie Comp.
« on: August 22, 2009, 09:51 »
Having spent hours peeling the smallest of my silverskin onions with a view to using them as the prize in a "Guess The Number Of Onions" compy in a church fete, I thought I'd share it here.

The onions themsleves will be the prize in the fete, but obviously I can't do it here, so I'll send the winner some of my heritage pea seed.

Simple rules just to be fair to those who can't sit by the PC all day - just one guess allowed per member per day.

Off you go then, so how many in this standard 1.14 litre, (is that 2 pints?), pickling vinegar jar?

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

These were only the small ones, thought I'd have a bit of fun with them rather than sling them. I've got 3 heaped washing up bowls full of silverskins to do.

Then there's the shallots.

If e = mc2

It follows that o = 4ɣ/9ɰ = 257

You're not taking into account the fact that these were make in a parallel universe where the laws of physics as we know them, do not hold true.

(That means "no").
