Garlic wash

Garlic wash

Hi all, I wondered if can tell me the best way to make a garlic wash mainly for my hostas,Do I just crush them and add to water, I'm not quite sure of how strong a mix will works have slugs in abundance awaiting for the hostas to emerge. thanks.

Exactly as that link says, although I will add that you might the windows open while you boil the garlic, depending on the breed of garlic the smell can be quite pungent and long lasting.
