3 and a half foot by two and a half, two and a half foot high.
Now I did get them initially to use as compost bins but as they are rather solid is there anything else I can use them for as the more open pallet type crate is pretty easy to come by.
Thanks

Line with polythene, fill with soil/compost & grow your carrots in them. Being 2 1/2 feet high, the carrot fly can't get 'em!

cover with some glass or perspex and use as cold frames ? paint with wood preservative ( non toxic stuff) .have someone ........( being diplomatic to women here dont wanna get rollokin for saying get the hubby to ) to cut one side lower than the other and just put a bit of batten around the top edge to make it stronger and then your sorted

You could put a hinged lid on and use em as a tool chest or put a shelf in and stand em end on, on bricks for storage space. for pots, trays, etc.
