https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products/lawnflite-t450-tillercultivator/#Cultivator. How deep will this go is this a good one to buy
-
Hello I have a lawnflite brochure will check it out for you jezza
-
Hello it has 12 inch diameter tines 7inch digging depth depending on soil type the MF version I used made a good tilth after a couple of passes in heavy soil with the tines running in reverse, remember when using these machines to spin the rotas into the ground the disengage them then put wheels in gear then rotas back in they can run away the rotas act like 4 wheel drive if they are engaged jezza
-
Is that the deepest it goes or is there an adjustment on there what makes it go deeper
-
Hello it has a central depth adjuster but the side plates on the rotavator are adjustable as well how deep do you want it to go jezza
-
Okay the ground I’ve got to turn over where I’ve been in lockdown it needs to be turned over a gane it’s a clay soil bit tough so the deeper I can go maybe the better it would be what is your recommendations
-
Hello the machine you're looking at has a reverse rotation system that digs deeper in heavier soil so a couple of passes should go a bit deeper jezza
-
Sorry to keep troubling you have you got any idea what the width and length of that machine is thank you it’s just because I’ve got a put it in A garden shed Thanks
-
I have to say that machine is the business we bought a Viking 2years ago around half the price of that one but given the choice I would go for Lawnflite as I do most of my heavy work with my tractor my tiller is quite adequate and for small work I use a mantis but Lawnflite is a the rolls Royce of cultivators
