Gooseberries
« on: June 02, 2010, 21:19 »
Hey all,

Can someone please tell me when is the best time to plant gooseberries? All my vegetables are doing well, apart from courgettes (my own fault - should know better, but hey ho!) Would really like to plant some fruit and love gooseberries.

Thanks

Best time is October. Soil is still warm and plant can make root growth, but any time up to February.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
