Title: Hello from an old 'member'

Hi all,

Back on here after a number of years,with a slightly different name, was squiffy2  :)

I gave my allotment some years ago due to ill health, but have now reached a place where I have started veggie growing again, on a slightly smaller scale, in my back garden, using straw bale deep beds. This is the first year of the experiment, and I am going to write a blog about the experience, when I get the time!  :) To date it has been going very well (famous last words). Will try and get my blog started asap.

Welcome back - the straw bale bed sounds interesting  :)

I hope when you say blog you mean a forum diary? like these..

Your back garden looks as though you've crammed a lot into a relatively small space - well done!

Hell Squiffy 😀

Looking forward to reading more about your strawbale growing. My only experience of it all fell to pieces as the season wore on and the plants flopped about badly... tomatoes... so clearly I have much I could learn 😭😵
