Have grown some lovely cauli's this year. They are SERAC over wintering variety. Went to pick some yesterday to freeze and some had got a pink tinge to them. Could this be due to rain. Got them home and blanched them and they came out white. Wasn't looking forward to eating pink cauli's lol
Retired and still not enough hours in the day

Don't know whats happened to my cauli's this year, they haven't formed any middles yet  Lovely foliage though :?
Last year we had eaten most of them by now, think this year I have grown Avalanche.

I got mine from marshalls seeds and they were supposed to ready in May. Everyone I sowed has grown to maturity only all at the same time. Only trouble is It's taken me a couple of hours to get them ready for the freezer. Good job it's raining eh! Have left 4 on the plot until tomorrow. Will definitely grow them again.

Depends when you sowed and planted, this one is recommended for summer and autumn use.

Cold snap can be a reason for blindness.

I started them off in pots in the greenhouse back in Feb/March time then planted out beginning of May....we really haven't had a cold spell til now & its more wet than cold.  Strange, I shall be having words when I go back to work (at T&M) in Sept/Oct :D  :D  :D  :D
My OH insists they are not caulies but they def are.  Still the chooks will love them if nothing happens
