Title: Italian hand sickle.
Post by: jaycee on June 30, 2007, 17:17
Few years ago on a visit to Italy bought a hand sickle.
This week seem to have lost it somewhere in the garden
searched and searched to no avail.
I am lost without it.
Does anyone know where I can get one to replace?
It`s shaped like a cresent but seems to have a smaller and broader blade than the ones I have seen on the internet.

I would try any local DIY stores, assuming you haven't a hardware shop locally

My local "Focus" even sells the longhandled shovel/spade which some folks find hard to obtain in various parts of the country

Only buy a very very cheap one cause you will be certain to find your old one when you get home :!: Even the Grim Reaper can only use one :)   Bob
