You could plant there again. (I am)  but its better rotate for the usual reasons.

Cabbage planted now are normally overwintering ones, that is to say ones for spring 2010. There are a few exception to that. I've just planted out some (a very late variety) savoy, and I'll be putting some hispi's in for harvesting late but before first frost.

What were you going to put in ? and how big are the seedlings ?

Ths years rotation lasts till spring as far as i'm concerned ( not strictly true..but hey) so you can put more cabbage in.
You can still sow cabbage for eating during the winter, apologies for those who have already seen this post about 100 times ::)
Quote
I've only just sown winter cabbage MInicole, and Samantha small savoy, Tundra large savoy/white cabbage hybrid a very nice cabbage fully winter hardy if you have the space, and swede Marion still to sow. (Sowing dates savoys...may to July, minicole may to june( still think you'd get away with it), swede Mid april to mid july.)
So you have time to start again with winter cabbage and swede at least

Plus you can sow cabbage for spring greens :)
