Has the soil been disturbed? Mice could have made a meal of them. I allways start them off in pot's and plant out when big enough.

Gently dig and have a look. Find a seed and see if it has chitted. You will probably knock the chit off while searching. They could just be short of water?

My guess is that the birds have had them!
It is what happens here unless you net them after sowing.
I forgot and had to resow :(

I've got 2 up out of about 100 sown!!

Think it's probably the pigeons as I only threw a bit of netting over them instead of doing it properly this year (the same seeds were fine last year.)

To save time (and "prove" the seeds) I'm chitting some in a plastic box (double shame on me as I DON'T CHIT!)  :nowink:
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

So now I don't feel quite such a chump....

Mine are all sitting pretty out on the plot after tediously making loads and loads of paper-pots and chitting and sowing and then planting out.... But I do have a couple of very nice looking lots of peas with another lot ready to follow on.  ;)

Forgot to say: 100% success  ;)
