the mallard won't breed with the muscovy's, muscovy are a different species to other ducks and geese, they'll only breed with other muscovy's

Em Er he was a small and fluffy duckling in June. I think you may be right and they are cross Muscovies. Bertie is very pretty me thinks. Not for the table though Munty Just seen the last post and if that is the case, well I have seen Bertie having lots of em FUN with his girls so that puts paid to the full Muscovy theory :?

and sorry to dispel the x breeding theory but the muscovy will breed with other ducks pekin is a normal cross which gives a moulard.( not sure of spelling ) and all domestic ducks have origins in the mallard
