Title: Dealing with brambles
Post by: Tom Parrot on February 05, 2019, 13:42
Today I read in Allotment Gardening the article about Brambles.
I now have a small problem with them and deal with them by first cutting them down and putting the cuttings into a HotBin (which can take all perennial weeds).
Then dig up the best I can the remaining roots. Some are easy and some are a pain.
Next use GBK on the remaining stumps giving a second painting about a week later. Protecting from the chickens.
This has not eradicated the brambles as the grow in obscure places that are hard to deal with and easily missed.
But has helped to recover a lot of my garden.
