I hope my day improves ...
« on: March 02, 2021, 09:16 »
I'm not sure whether to attempt anything else today - when I can't even make a cup of tea  ::)
I put the kettle on, got out my mug, put a tea bag in it - fine so far you think?

I started to pour hot water into the mug but (Shock! Horror!) the water from the kettle was brown
I'd put a tea bag in the kettle as well  ::)

That's another marble I've lost, obviously

well these things happen don't they the times I've measured pieces of wood cut them and found out i measured it short or putting packs of furniture together is not good news because i always end up putting the wrong pieces in the wrong place and  loosing it big time  so buying furniture in packs is a no no in our house  >:(

Yup - some days just start off badly and you wonder whether it would have been wiser to stay in bed!

I usually start my day with a cup of tea, followed by a coffee or two, but I have been known to absent-mindedly make them simultaneously (in the same mug!  )
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

My granny always used to say “It’ll be better when you’ve been through the sheets again.”

Took me years to realise that she meant tomorrow.

Perfectly normal Mum! Nothing wrong with that at all!

I've taken to cutting up every cardboard box (cereal, tea etc.), and using the pieces for lists all over the house, including the loo and the shed!

Mrs Growster started to despair at one stage, but we both live by these lists now - there's even one Sellotaped to the freezer, to remind me to keep the door shut, as it sometimes keeps open a bit! (It was even open just a few minutes ago)...

When I do the shopping, it's written on one of these lists with a bulldog clip so I can attach it to the trolley, and I now have at least seven similar lists in my pocket, all stuck together...

So a simple teabag episode is a mere drop in the Typhoo...;0)

The problem is that tea is essential first thing before attempting to do anything, but you need to make the first cup before you can drink it!

I seem to spend a lot of time wandering from room to room wondering what was I going to do next.  When I find something in the wrong place swearing, who put that there !! and there is only me here.    But you have all made me laugh, and actually I don't think I am that bad now      Mrs Bouquet

Yes!
I spent the rest of the day out in the garden as the sun was shining and managed not to impale my feet with the fork, or to break any greenhouse glass. Result!
