Terrible looking Strawberries

I was wondering how everybody's Straw berries have come through the winter ,mine look really bad .

Mine always look a bit sad at this time of the year.  I took all the old leaves off at the beginning of the cold weather and they haven't sprouted their new leaves yet, but removing all of the old leaves exposes them to the cold and promotes flower production.  More flowers, more strawberries, yum!    They will have a good feed once they start to move, plus a thorough weeding and careful 'tickling' of the soil around them.

I expect mine look awful too but I haven't bothered to look at them yet.  It's far too early for me to even think about them yet.
