Sorry to hear that Thrift - just when she was starting to get better. It is so good that she does not mind the vet staff - that is one less thing to think about.

Thanks everyone ...... it really is nothing to worry about, thankfully. It's brilliant that the staff all love her and she is no trouble at all - she simply needs to be kept quiet and monitored until the serum dries up.

I suspect we are missing her far more than she is missing us!  :D

She is such a special dog and seems to enjoy sharing her love with everyone she meets.  I think the vets will be giving her the VIP treatment and she will be lapping it up.

Remember Thrift absence make the heart grow fonder.   ;)

So sorry.  Hope she is able to come back today.  At least she is happy to go to the vet.

I collected Bessie at midday ..... she was absolutely ecstatic to see me; I'm sure this time she must have thought I had really abandoned her. Very excited to be home and managed a little stroll in the field between the downpours .... she had a good sniff round the rabbit holes.  :D

All the fluid has drained now so I hope her troubles are over at last.

Below is a pic of her daughter Bella, who is obviously enjoying the good life in Poole.  :D

seeing the lovely - and large - Bella, yet again makes me think how lucky Bessie and Brood were to find you - could have all ended so differently  :(. But we all know it didn't!  :D
I still think it would make a wonderful little film!
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

Good news about Bessie - hope she is really on the mend now. Bella is so cute - hard to remember them when they were so small.
