Blight or botrytis?
« on: September 07, 2012, 09:29 »
Must ask again - it was suggested on my recent post that what I thought was blight might be botrytis. I need to pin this down. My tomato plants are not showing continued problem on the leaves, which still have some dried-up brown/grey patches. although I removed most of them. But every day one or two tomatoes from the slowly ripening crop turns like this one - does anyone know if botrytis can cause this?

Some of mine were like that as well, and I'm convinced it was botrytis cos in some places there were grey/brown fluffy spore patches.

It doesn't matter which it was though, does it? It can still spoil your harvest  and treatment is no different  ::)
