You never know he may do the deed if you share your meat birds with him.

vy_vutu5qO0but I am not sure if I could do it to be honest. It's a huge step. I try to imagine it because I really would love to be able to but I think my preference would be if someone could do it for me. My husband would be even worse ;-)
Although my 10 year old son says he would do it while they are asleep so they don't feel anything. ;-)

Ah bless him.  You really need to be in the right frame of mind so until you feel more at ease I would give it a miss.

I like how she holds the chicken and calms it down. 
I don't think I would mind preparing it once it's dead. I think it will take me a while of brooding over it to make a decision... ;-)
