Can anyone offer some advice to my sister? She lives in Spain in the Alicante region and is jealous of us and our allotments.

She lives in a flat so only has a balcony but wants to try and grow something in containers. I wasn't sure what to suggest as obvioudsly it's a lot warmer there and she also gets strong breezes coming off the sea as she lives on the coast.

I know some of you are based in Spain - can anyone help?

Be patient, and you'll get a posting from Biscombe who's been in Spain 8 years now and Oliveview, who's been over there 2 years ow I think it is.  Also in an email from John (the guvnor!)  he said we have a new family joined that have been growing in Spain for some time, so fingers crossed, you'll gets loads of advice for her...
