Gorse flower and broom flower wines
« on: May 31, 2020, 10:49 »
Has anyone made either gorse flower or broom wines and if so, when do they start tasting of something other than sugar and lemons?

I got a taste of the gorse wine and it was just sugar and lemon.

i will reply to myself, I racked the broom for reasons due to sleep deprivation. Only to discover there was no petals there. It does taste of broom and does not taste hideous, like every other wine (I hate wine, I love being busy). Husband tried a bit and he wants to make more.

Elderflower season is starting. Will have to see if there's enough buckets.
