Best of Queen DVD
« on: February 11, 2020, 15:36 »
I had a video tape of their best songs and am trying to find a DVD for it. Anyone know where the wind blows?

I had one of their concerts on video tape as well (purchased as such, not illicitly recorded) and when we got our new TV found the video player could not connect to it.  We found a shop in Newport (IOW) and now closed, that would transfer to DVD for you which we did.  It wasn't cheap if I remember correctly.  Apart from the big supermarkets we don't have anywhere over here any more to buy DVDs so rarely look at them.

It doesn't really matter,   la la, la.  I   Love Freddie and Queen.   Seeing them at "Live Aid", was just, well it was Ö...cannot explain,  I've got goosebumps again.     Mrs Bouquet

Sometimes my mind wanders, if found please return.

Fabulous music, Goosey!

Brian May is exactly the same age as me - to the hour!

Freddie Mercury is still a favourite vocalist - better than a singer he was just so good!

(Hope I've done the link right Mum, I tried, really I did)..:0~

Actually, as well as 'Killer Queen', and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (which Mrs Growster tried to buy me for a present, and they'd sold out), here is probably my favourite: -

Amazon seem to have a few live DVDs for sale as a good starting point.

All of my Queen music is on black vinyl, so I went out and treated myself to  "The Platinum Collection"
It is a three CD set, with their greatest hits, 1, 2 and 3.    Now I can blast away in the kitchen or the car.  :) Mrs Bouquet

I've ordered a DVD of their greatest hits and I can't wait to watch it! I was an extra in the video "I Want To  Break Free" but never received any credit for providing my old hoover with replacement dust bags and my padded bra I saved from the 1960's. If you want a killer queen, look no further from one of our cats.

THE CAT

Lazy, dangling paw
Resting light on silken chest
Hides a killerís heart.

Cat watch mouse watch cat.
Thudding heart match swishing tail
In a grim tattoo.

Cunning nonchalance!
Sweet deceit shines through her eyes
As her razors strike.

Smiles the cat content.
Curls her lips in arrogance.
Sleeps in innocence.
