I would like to join in please.  I have a couple plants that are growing well, I just need to get the fruits sorted out a bit.

I've actually got a female flwoer that's opened.

Might have to pollinate it with a courgette though!  >:(

Photo with my wallet as a size guide, the wallet is 4 1/2" long.

I have 2 this size, at least 4 slightly smaller and another half a dozen of the tennis ball size.

We should be safe then, I think they're a standard variety, not a giant one!  :tongue2:

Out of interest, when do they normally start to turn orange?

Never grown any pumpkins before  :D

I'm interested too - I put in two pumpkin plants (generic garden centre from the same tray). One has a decent sized yellow pumpkin growing, and this morning I found a tennis ball sized, dark green one on the other. Will this turn orange, or stay green? I suppose it'll taste the same?
