try s.e.s (small engine supplies) in sutton surrey. i dont have the phone number to hand at home they may be able to help. also northen tools in portsmouth sell honda engines a bit cheaper than normal. what horsepower?

Shaun what sort of job is it to change for a honda, re mountings and lining up the pulleys?

John, Thanks for the site, will have a look. The phone is working sometimes and not others, BT still looking into it, they say its a line fault, possibly underground, mind you we are a long way from the exchange. I think its the polar bears scratching themselves against the phone posts, stretching the line. The quality of the line is very poor, as you know not good at the best of time, will ring as soon as line quality improves.

i have got a gx 160 5.5 hp that i got from a auction for £20 .i bought it for a spare realy because the one thats on mine is the original engine .it still works but you never know.the auction i got it from is just of the A55 towards hollywell.they sell loads of stuff like that they are quite common as they are used every where.
as for fitting it .i have been told its straight forward appart from some shims i think.i have seen them with hondas on on ebay,
there are a few engines on there now'chears Shaun
