Theft deterrent
« on: June 14, 2014, 09:41 »
I have a couple of small metal statues things in my garden that I wouldn't want nicked.  Is there anyway of fixing them down on a turfed area.

They're not too value, so it doesn't have to be completely theft proof, just a deterrent from somebody making a smash and grab on the way home from the pub.

And something I could unclip/un-padlock them from, to take them in in the winter.

Many thanks for any ideas.

What about a "soft ground anchor" (gurgle it you'll find a number). My 20fx10ft polytunnel is held down by half a dozen spiral screws that twist into the ground. Its held it against quite strong winds.
