Our new kittens.
« on: July 16, 2012, 21:12 »
Well I collected our three new kittens at the weekend. The plan is for them to be barn cats once we get our smallholding (fingers crossed in just 2 weeks) and once they have had all their vaccinations.

We were going to get abandoned kittens from somewhere like the Cat protection League but then my sister's spayed cat had a litter ( teach her to go for the more expensive option of tubal ligation rather than hysterectomy :tongue2:). When I arrived in the morning to collect them from the bedroom found one playing with a dead mouse! Assume mum or dad had brought it in for them to practice on but did seem like a very good omen!

So meet Oscar, Tabitha and Vienna..

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

So happy that they found an ideal home.  Hope all goes well with your move Kate, I am sooooooooo jealous.  Don't forget we will need loads and loads of before and after photos, both of the kittens and your smallholding.  ;)

Lovely kitties, Molly wants one ( our cat Molly).

Yes!

I informed my OH that Vienna was a stupid name for a cat but he insisted as it was the name of Rigsby's cat. Have to confess I never watched Rising Damp so it kind of passed me by.

It was that or go with his other suggestion of Snap, Crackle and Pop so I gave in!

Which one is the Boss Madam at the bottom of the thread?  She is Going To Be In Charge, and you humans (particularly the Boy Human) had better get used to it!

They are gorgeous!!!  Mush ....

We are hoping to exchange this week and then hopefully in the house 2 weeks later. Can't wait. Just want to get there and get stuck in.

Do you think Lucy-cat would object if I got a bookend like the one above  ::)

Somehow I don't think I'd ever hear the last of it  :nowink:
