Do only cockerals mount?
My two original hens are experiencing Buffy (new buff) trying to mount them.. not very successful though, but am wondering if this is her showing she's a HE.. or if it's a pecking order thing?

Any idea's? Or am i driving for 4 hours to drop off the 2nd of two chickens as they're cocks?  :shock:

The answer is no.
When hormones are running high the girls can get quite carried away if you know what I mean and their behaviour can be very cockerel like :shock:

I find mt water pistol comes in quite handy then!

Thanks Kim.. feel somewhat relieved by your post! really thought i was headed for another long drive.. never quite as exciting when returning a chook.

Will get a water gun and have it at the ready for Buffy! :lol:
