Ok peeps, got this huge area to do somat with and have been told to put tattys in it this year.
good so far.
right first of many of my ( what will become famous ::)) "stupid questions".

can anybody recomend a good tatty that i can chuck in, in the next couple of weeks and then apart from building up, pretty much leave alone whilst I gets on with me shed and green house?

all ideas and help gratefully received.

Hi there

It's also my first year on the allotment and my first year using seed potatoes.  In previous years i have just used a few sprouted spuds from the end of the bag.

I've gone for Pentlan javelin as a second early and they seem to be doing well, and are apparently quite resistant.

Good luck with it.

Problem is finding any at this time of year!

Our local Homebase had a few not very well looking stragglers about a week ago,
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

If you have a B&M store near you they are currently reduced to 99p. I'm sure that they would produce something if planted now

They are a bargin store - a bit like Wilkos or Pound Stretcher - and are slowing making their way across the country i think. I wasn't sure if you were from Stafford or not from your profile - if you are there are at least three in Stoke on Trent
