I cannot find an answer.... can I dry the beans in french beans to put in soups and stews ?? 
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

yes, some varieties have been bred to do just that - but they will be small by the time they've dried. You get a bigger bean by drying runners :)

You wo't poison anyone if you give the dried beans a good boil before then cooking them slowly until soft..
 


... the boil itself should last 8 minutes  :D
