 reading the topic on strawberries I was thinking about  growing some strawberry from seed I looked at a variety called Toscana but I'm a bit unsure about growing strawberries from seed although Toscana is said to be both an early cropper and continues to fruit all summer from early sowings

I'm thinking maybe strawberries are  bit risky from seed so Il see if anyone on site has grew strawberries from seed before jumping in feet first as 25 seeds will cost around £7.60 any info much appreciated

I grew some, a good few years ago now, can't remember which variety they were, but they do take a very long time to germinate - more than a month I seem to recall
