we had some good pickings of our blackberry bush this year and now autumn  is fast coming  up on us the wife asked  me how do i prune my blackberry bush good question don't know  :( so  Il ask some of our member that do how do you prune blackberries  :unsure:

I'm not organised enough to use the one side, then the other side the next year. I just cut away any branches that have fuited this year, and then tie in the new growth ready for it to fruit next year, I did mine a week or so ago. If you leave it a bit later the old growth tend to look a bit brown and woodier, so it is easy to see what you have to cut away.
