I've just made the call to the vets.  My very best furry friend will make his last visit tomorrow at 11am and will not be returning with me

His name is Signature (siggy, wiggy etc) and he has helped me through the worst times with my bipolar. When I left the house he looked for me and when I came home he was waiting at the door.  When I wasn't sleeping he kept me company and when all I can do is sleep he makes the sacrifice.

Rest assured this decision has not been taken lightly and I've cried a river already today. He's snoozing by my feet at the moment with one paw resting on me.  I'm going away for a week on Saturday and will hopefully be on my way back to happiness before too long

We had to make the same decision last year and it is never an easy one to make for a much loved friend and pet.  You have some lovely photos there and of course all your memories which will never fade.  Sending you big hugs.

So sorry   Knowing when to say goodbye to your pet is one of the kindest acts of love you can give to a much loved pet, although it does not make it any easier.
