[nuzuki]

I was expecting them to be apple, lemon, melon or grape as I have just been randomly planting seeds from fruit I have been eating in the last few months. However upon searching for images of these seedlings they didnt appear to match. So does anyone have any ideas? the leaves are almost furry to the touch with little pimples on. Here are some pictures below...





Any help identifying these woudl be great then I can figure out hows best to care for them.

It looks more like primrose or primula... You say its definitely one of the four you mention? I'd go melon from those choices....

I don't know - If they were on my plot I'd hoe them off as they're similar to the Borage that grow wild there

Look like teasels to me, 1st year they sit there growing a few leaves , next year pow! 4 foot of spikes lol

They could also be verbascum.

Hmmm!

1) Never seen any melon plant with leaves like that.

2) The leaves of my primroses look very similar, but the new leaves always emerge "furled up", which yours don't appear to be.

3) Had to Gurgle teasels because I'm not familiar with them - seem a pretty close match so I'm going with Richyrich7 (for now!)

I would say teasel too - loads in my garden. But what are the chances of getting a teasel in each of four pots, with each seedling roughly in the middle of each pot. Seems almost planned to me. Could you have actually planted teasel seeds?
