I don't know if this is normal behavior or not but our Bluebelle about 25 weeks old - today is sitting outside roosting on the soil shes not eating much nor is she with the other two girls. She is just sitting there, yesturday she was fine scratching around etc.We dont think she has started laying yet looked at her vent this morning and its all clean. Any ideas??

she might just be enjoying the sun.
keep an eye on her though, in case she doesn't improve or change.

I think she may have been enjoying the sun too! Hens do love to sun bath! Its very funny. But do keep an eye on her, she may becoming ready to lay, its exciting when you get your first egg and 25weeks is roughly about the right time! Enjoy
