I think you just stick them in and about 12 inches apart. Well that is what I will be doing this weekend :)

I just stuck em in and covered with soil (about 6 inches down).  WG will tell you he is the J Art supremo.

Well there is a rose end (same as a tattie) which is where the shoots come from.    Preferably this goes to the top but it is not at all critical.   If in doubt, lay it on its side.

I'd suggest an 18" spacing (that's just over 500mm Munty, if you're reading this!).

But, Heifer, if you can kill a J Art, then perhaps you should take up tennis instead of gardening!   :)  :wink:
