DD -- can I ask about the larger than usual charlotte's -- what was the reason -- very well fed, excellent ground or longer time in the ground etc

Not fed at all, apart from horse muck at the initial planting. I suspect longer time in the ground & the ground's not that bad.

I accidentally ended up with more than I planned - about 34 of them, so what with trying to much through all that lot as well as the Pentand Javelin that were also getting huge, by the time I was half way though them, they were getting rather large!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
