I saw an advert in a gardening mag for willow courses, weaving etc etc
I wondered about sending hubby and my ten year old son for some male bonding   seen as they dont get on brilliantly at the moment.

Question is, is ten okay age wise, they did a school trip to the willow and wetlands center and he has talked about it non stop, just thought this might show him his mother does listen to him really

Sounds an excellent idea. One to one. Ideal. Thing is, would your big kid be keen ?    :)

Is he open to those sort of things (would love it myself).

I think he would be okay, it would be great for the two of them to do something and you never know they may make something we can use on the lottie or in the garden  :D

I want a willow log basket. Maybe I could learn from a book and source some willow.

You've got me started thinking now

Our DD was born on 24th. It's her 21st this year. She has no chance of celebrating it. :?

Feel really guilty. She'll prob end up sat in front of the telly with us. Poor kid.

Hope this isnt too late.  I ve just done a days willow weaving with my contemporary flower group.  We had a woman called Carole Beavis.  It was fantastic.  She does loads of stuff with schools as well so she knows what to do with kids.
